When we bought the house in 2023, we were happy that there already was a pool. A bit of a patch-up, fill it with clean water and ready to go, we thought... Unfortunately, it proved not to be this easy, because in the end the pump and liner had to be replaced. The latter in particular was a huge job. But to be honest, we are very happy that we did it, because now we have a beautiful brand-new pool that many guests (and we ourselves!) can enjoy.

All markets are usually open until 12.30 pm.

  • Royan (every day in high season, except Mondays during the rest of the year)
  • Saintes (Wednesday and Saturday)
  • Pons (Wednesday and Saturday)
  • Blaye (Saturday)



There are also several evening markets during the high season. Markets with cosy stalls or food trucks and music.

How wonderful is that, after a day out just taking a seat at the long dinner table and not having to cook. We provide a varied menu (also vegetarian) for young and old. No culinary highlights...we will have a pizza or bbq night on Monday and on Thursday a nice meal. We announce the menus on the blackboard, and you can let us know up to one day in advance whether you want to join us for dinner.
